Marc is COO | CFO at Unata (a one-to-one digital marketing solution provider for retailers) and is responsible for all operational and financial related activities, in addition to strategic and channel driven growth initiatives. During his tenure at Unata, Marc was instrumental in growing the business from pre-revenue to its current state of recurring profitability. He brings extensive experience in founding and guiding companies through all stages of their business life cycle from seed to later stage with proven success at realizing financial success. Previously Marc was an investment Partner with both the BlackBerry Partners Fund and Summerhill Venture Partners, two technology focused venture capital funds. Marc was directly involved with such companies as Aepona (mobile cloud infrastructure acquired by Intel), Neuralitic (mobile data analytics acquired by Guavus), Radian6 (social media analysis acquired by Salesforce.com) and Jumptap (acquired by Millenial Media) to name only a few. His other professional experiences include corporate development with Bell Mobility and strategy consulting with The McKenna Group, a boutique consulting firm focused on developing go-to-market growth strategies for technology based businesses. Marc began his professional career with Ericsson Communications working as a product manager for wireless networks. With Ericsson, Marc played a key role in deploying the first TDMA-based fully integrated dual-band wireless network in the world for Rogers AT&T. Marc is currently an advisor with both Extreme Startups and JOLT accelerator programs located in Toronto. Marc has a BASc in Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
